Two Factor Authentication Help

Two Factor Authentication Help

New regulations have been introduced to help keep you safe and secure. As part of these changes we have introduced Two Factor Authentication, which means you'll need your mobile phone OR your One account Debit Card together with a Card Reader (this has been sent to you prior to August) to access your Online Banking and carry out key activities online. These extra security measures are in addition to your existing Global Key Code, Password & Passcode that you will still need to input as you do today.

Mobile Phone can be used to receive One Time Passcodes - To do this we need YOUR valid mobile phone number in Online Banking.
One Time Passcodes can be used for the following activities :

  • Logging In (you may not be asked to do Two Factor Authentication on every occasion).
  • Viewing Transactions Older Than 90 Days.
  • Amending Personal Details.

Card Reader (together with a One Account Debit Card) can be used for the following activities:

  • Logging In (you may not be asked to do Two Factor Authentication on every occasion).
  • Viewing Transactions Older Than 90 Days.
  • Amending Personal Details.
  • Setting up new payees for the 1st time.
  • Authorising existing payees for the 1st time
